We’re sorry to say that No Good Nick has been canceled after one season.

“It’s our sad duty to announce that No Good Nick will not be moving forward with part 3. Making this show has been a life changing experience for us and we couldn’t have asked for a better response from the audience,” executive producer David Steinberg shared on Twitter. “We feel that we made the show we wanted to make and we are proud of the story we told. We want to thank our amazing cast, our incredible crew and our talented writers for coming together in this collaborative medium to make something new and surprising.”

The Netflix show premiered back in April 2019, and it starred Melissa Joan HartSean AstinSiena AgudongLauren Lindsey Donzis and Kalama Epstein. The comedy followed a family whose lives got turned upside down when a mysterious girl, named Nick, showed up on their doorstep and claimed to be a distant relative. But it turned out that she was actually a con artist out to get revenge on them for unknowingly ruining her life. But as Nick got to know the family and started to grow close to them, it made it hard for her to ultimately go through with her plan.

The cast members took to social media to share their heartbreaking reactions over the show coming to an end.

“The other day, the cast and I found out that we’re unfortunately not getting picked up for a second season of No Good Nick. We, of course, are all very, very heartbroken. I just wanted to thank you guys for all of the support you’ve shown the show and the incredible edits and all the time you’ve spent supporting us and all the love you give. That all means so much to us,” Sienna said in an Instagram video.
