According to Deadline, Syfy has opted not to renew the series, which premiered on January 16, 2019. Besides the To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before star, the show also starred Benedict Wong, Benjamin Wadsworth, María Gabriela de Faría and more. The action-filled series was based off a comic book, and ICYMI, it was all about a teenager who was recruited into a high school for assassins. Yep, you heard us right — assassins. The show was filled with swords, fighting, and everything else that comes along with being an executioner, and we’re not going to lie, we’re pretty bummed about the news.
But not to worry, you guys, because you can still expect to see the 22-year-old actress on your screens this year. And that’s because she’s starring in the highly anticipated TATBILB sequel! Yep, Lara Jean Covey and Peter Kavinsky’s love story isn’t over yet, and we cannot wait to see what happens next. The Netflix flick unfortunately doesn’t have a release date yet, but what we do know is that Lana and her costars have already finished filming the next chapter.
Lana’s also appearing in the upcoming rom-com, Summer Night, which hits theaters on July 12, 2019. That one also stars Victoria Justice, so we know it’s going to be epic! And that’s not all. In the beginning of May, it was announced that the brunette beauty was cast in another film, called Girls Night.
According to Deadline, the new movie will “follow unlikely best friends, Alex and Tina, and their adventures over the course of Halloween Night in New York City as they try and track down a lost one-night stand — and figure out what they’re going to do with the rest of their lives.”
Lana will star as Alex, while Brianna Hildebrand will play Tina. Although we’re super sad about Deadly Class, we can’t wait to see everything else that Lana’s been working on.
