Ever since they starred in To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before together, we’ve low-key shipped Noah Centineo and Lana Condor. And now, they might be finally taking their on-screen love into real life. Hold the phone because the actor just told Cosmopolitan that he may propose to Lana! Can you hear us screaming?
When asked how it feels to know that people want him and his on-screen love interest to date IRL, the 22-year-old replied: “It’s all the same to me! I’m not upset about it.”
But then he continued, “I may propose to Lana later this year, who knows?” OMG.
Of course, he was just teasing though since Lana, 21, has a boyfriend that she’s been with for three years.
“You heard it on Cosmo first,” he joked.
Sigh. Guess there won’t be a Lara Jean Covey x Peter Kavinsky IRL wedding happening any time soon.
And Lana, isn’t the only co-star that Noah has been joking about dating lately. While appearing on ET Live, the TATBILB star was shown a clip of some of the actresses from the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina cast swooning over the actor. And when Abigail Cowen, his co-star from The Fosters, asked Noah on a date during the clip, he replied “Yeah, of course!”
But it looks like that was just a joke too, because he revealed to the magazine that he’s actually not dating anyone at the moment.
“[Dating] has been non-existent,” he admitted. “I’m working a lot. Keeping my head down and focusing and trying to take advantage of the opportunities that have come my way.”
As for dating apps, like Tinder and Hinge, he explained that he doesn’t participate.
“I would rather meet someone in real life,” he explained. Hello, we are right here!
So the bad news is, Noah and Lana aren’t getting married. But the good news? Noah is still single and we all have a chance! You win some, you lose some.
