Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is almost here! The cast of the upcoming Netflix drama stepped out in Hollywood for the big black carpet premiere event, but it wasn’t the leading stars who stole the show. While Kiernan Shipka and Ross Lynch oh-so-adorably posed together on the red carpet, it’s an underdog (er, cat) who was the true star of the night. Yes, we’re talkin’ Salem the Cat.
If you’re familiar with the OG Sabrina the Teenage Witch series from the ’90s, you know who we’re talking about. Salem makes his return in Chilling Adventures of Sabrina – and turns out, leading lady Kiernan is actually allergic to him IRL!
‘I get a call that says, ‘Kiernan is allergic to the cat. It did go through my mind: Could Salem be a dog?” creator Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa joked to Entertainment Weekly.
