Get ready, you guys, because we have some exciting news for you! Yeah, you might want to brace yourselves because it looks like Selena Gomez is starting her very own beauty line! It will seemingly contain fragrances, cosmetics, skincare preparations, haircare preparations, soaps, moisturizers and essential oils — and we cannot wait.
According to Women’s Wear Daily, the “Come and Get It” songstress filed a patent for the brand, which will be called “Selena Gomez,” on July 11. The trademark was filed by July Moon Productions, which is the 27-year-old’s production company.
OMG. How exciting is that?! Since the Wizards of Waverly Place actress is pretty much a pro at makeup and has rocked some of the most glamorous looks of all time, we know that her products are going to slay.
And it turns out, this isn’t Selena’s first time stepping into the world of beauty. The former Disney star released a fragrance back in 2011, called Eau de Parfum. And that one was extra special because she let fans help choose the scent!
As fans know, she’s actually not the only singer to make her own fragrance. Ariana Grande recently announced that she’s dropping a new perfume, called “Thank U, Next,” on August 14! The 26-year-old singer is teaming up with Ultra Beauty for the new fragrance, and has previously said it smells like “Ari if she went to the beach.”
One Direction has also released a few fragrances of their own over the years, and boy did they smell good. Some other celebrities who have dropped their own perfumes include The Dolan Twins, Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, Britney Spears, Rihanna, Katy Perry, Kim Kardashian and more!
We seriously cannot wait to try out all of Selena’s new products. There’s no release date for them yet, but we hope she announces something soon.
