When fans found out that Shane Dawson and Jeffree Star would be collaborating on a makeup palette, they were absolutely SHOOK. Immediately, they wanted answers as to when exactly the product would be released, what shades would be included and how many, and of course, what the palette would be called. Well, fam, we have some answers… we think.
That’s right! Some absolutely brilliant fans of the YouTubers managed to find the trademark filings for Jeffree Star Cosmetics online, and one of them raised more than a few eyebrows. It was the word “conspiracy,” and for those of you don’t know, Shane’s pretty much known for his epic conspiracy theory videos on YouTube. Hmm…
Need even more proof that “conspiracy” will be the name of the eyeshadow palette? Well, it has a 2019 date attached to it, which means the product, whether it has anything to do with Shane or not, will likely be coming out this year. Say whaaat?!
Of course, this is all just speculation at this point, but we have to admit that it’s the perfect title for the product. After all, we haven’t looked at Chuck E. Cheese’s the same way since the YouTube star pointed out some pretty ~interesting~ things about their pizza. And our iPhones? Yeah, we’re fully convinced that everything we say and do is being recorded at all times. What we’re trying to say is, the 30-year-old’s latest conspiracy theory video has amassed more than 35 million views, so why not keep the momentum going with a palette by the same name?
Clearly, we’re fully convinced that diehard fans of Shane and Jeffree have figured it out, but since details about the makeup collab are few and far between at the moment, we’re just going to have to wait for them to confirm it themselves. Shane… Jeffree… your move.
