You go, Taylor Swift! The singer just clapped back at an interviewer who asked if she was ready to have kids yet, and she did it in the most epic ever!
While speaking with German Magazine RTL about her new music, the outlet asked the blonde beauty how she feels about turning 30 years old in December.
“Is this a kind of turning point in your life? Would you like to be a mother someday, have children?” they asked her — and her response was everything.
“I really do not think men are asked that question when they turn 30. So I’m not going to answer that now,” she fired back.
Wow, we are seriously living for her answer! We love that the “Look What You Made Me Do” songstress is not afraid to stick up for herself.
“I hear others say your thirties no longer has as much stress and anxiety in life as [your] twenties, and I can join in the observation that in our twenties, we are looking to gain experience, try things out, fail, make mistakes,” she continued. “And I definitely plan to try and fail things in my thirties as well. But I expect that in our thirties we feel a little better [about] who we are.”
As fans know, the 29-year-old has been dating Joe Alwyn since May 2017, and the question of when the two will tie the knot and start a family together has low-key been on everyone’s minds lately. Especially since a source told Us Weekly back in March that the couple’s friends are already thinking about their engagement!
“Taylor’s friends are all talking about a proposal and how she really wants to marry Joe,” the insider said. “He’s her dream guy.”
But clearly, Taylor is not ready to address that yet. And we totally respect that!
