The cast of Teen Wolf has officially postponed their upcoming reunion to support the Black Lives Matter movement. Although they’ve yet to announce a new date, the show’s official Twitter account posted a message to fans and encouraged them to “stand united against racism.”

“We are postponing the #TeenWolfReunion to stand with the #BlackLivesMatter movement and encourage our fans to take this time to support the Black Community,” the social media post read, along with sharing a list of  “some anti-racism resources.”

For those who missed it, on May 21, Tyler Posey announced that on Friday, June 5 (the anniversary of the first-ever episode), series creator Jeff Davis would be joined by Tyler, of course, along with Orny Adams, Linden Ashby, Ian Bohen, Charlie Carver, Max Carver, Arden Cho, Cody Christian, Shelly Henning, Dylan O’Brien, Melissa Ponzio, Khylin Rhambo, Holland Roden and Dylan Sprayberry on MTV’s newly announced digital format, “MTV Reunions.” The virtual reunion was set to air on MTV’s YouTube at 12 P.M. EST, and the cast was set to team up with First Responders First Charity to raise money and give back to the frontline healthcare workers amid the coronavirus pandemic!

“It’s really sweet, I’m really excited, I hope to see you all there,” the show’s star said in an announcement video posted to social media. “The whole pack is back and we’re doing it for the First Responders First Organization because we love love. So please join us, June 5. Teen Wolf reunion baby on the first-ever episode anniversary.”

Although it’s unclear exactly when the cast will go live, from the sound of it, they plan on teaming up on a later date. For now, along with stars like Ariana Grande, Camila Cabello, Shawn Mendes, Madison Beer, Ross Lynch, Jaz Sinclair, Timothée Chalamet, Lauren Jauregui, Harry Styles, Cole Sprouse, Halsey and more, the Teen Wolf cast is using their social media platforms to speak out and raise awareness after the tragic death of George Floyd.
