This may come as a total shock, but it’s officially been 16 years since Rugrats concluded. Yep, the iconic Nickelodeon cartoon aired its final episode on August 1, 2004, and it was truly an end of an era.

For those who forgot, the show followed a group of babies as they went on numerous adventures together. It’s safe to say it was definitely a big part of a lot of our childhoods — seriously, who else loved watching Tommy, Chucky, Angelica, Phil and Lil on their TV screens every day as a kid?! We know we did!

The Rugrats anniversary got us thinking — what other shows did we enjoy as kids? Did anyone watch The Angry Beavers or CatDog? What about The Fairly Odd Parents or The Wild Thornberrys? Oh, and who could forget Rocket Power or Doug? Our childhoods would have been pretty different without those classics!

Avatar: The Last Airbender

Avatar: The Last Airbender aired on Nick from 2005 to 2008, but we have some good news? Get this, you guys — the entire series is now available to stream on Netflix!

Danny Phantom

This show followed a young boy named Danny Fenton, who accidentally blew up his parents’ laboratory and became a ghost-hunting superhero! He had to balance fighting ghosts, saving the world, keeping his powers a secret and being a normal teenager. It aired from 2004 to 2007.

My Life as a Teenage Robot

My Life as a Teenage Robot was definitely a classic! It followed a robot who wanted to be a normal teenager instead of was created to do — stop the planet from certain disaster. It premiered in 1999, and when it ended in 2007, we were sad to see it go.

The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron, Boy Genius

Let’s get a show of hands, who loved to watch Jimmy and his giant brain create epic inventions! This show was on TV from 2002 to 2006, and it was definitely a fan favorite!

The Fairly Odd Parents

When Timmy Turner summoned his fairy god parents, Wanda and Cosmo, they always stirred up some type of trouble! The Fairly Odd Parents premiered in 2001, and had a total of 10 seasons before it came to an end in 2017.

Invader Zim

Invader Zim was certainly full of laughs! That’s why when it aired its final episode in 2006, fans were pretty sad to see it go.

As Told By Ginger

As Told By Ginger (which ran for 16 whole years!) was all about a middle school pre-teen named Ginger, who would do just about anything to be popular. It was definitely a big part of our childhoods!

Rocket Power

Rocket Power followed four young friends who shared a love for action and extreme sports. We loved to watch Otto, his sister, Reggie, and their pals Twister and Sam take on skateboarding, mountain biking or surfing before the show came to an end in 2004.

The Wild Thornberrys

It was always a fun time with the Thornyberry family, especially because their daughter, Eliza, could talk to animals! The Wild Thornberrys premiered in 1998 and ended in 2004.

CatDog

Being half cat and half dog definitely posed its problems for CatDog in this epic show, and ever since it concluded in 2005, there’s not a day that goes by that we don’t miss it!

Angry Beavers

The amount of hours we spent watching Angry Beavers as a kid is unreal. The show, which aired from 1997 to 2001, followed brothers Daggett and Norbert Beaver, as they ran into everything from wacky government scientists to a swamp witch and evil, mind-controlling pond scum.

Hey Arnold!

Move it football head! We can all agree that Hey Arnold! was definitely a big part of our childhoods. It premiered in 1996 and ended eight years later, in 2004.

The Ren & Stimpy Show

Ren, a psychotic Chihuahua, and Stimpy, a not-so-smart cat went on so many epic adventures in The Ren & Stimpy Show before it ended in 1996. Ugh, we’d give anything to bring it back!

Aaahh!!! Real Monsters

Aaahh!!! Real Monsters followed Ickis, Oblina and Krumm, who were monsters-in-training at the Monster Academy. It was on TV from 1994 to 1997, and now, more than 20 years later, we still miss it!

Rocko’s Modern Life

Who here loved Rocko’s Modern Life as much as we did?! It was all about a wallaby who moved from Australia to the United States. But life in the U.S. wasn’t as nice as he thought it would be, since he is surrounded by annoying neighbors, tons of laundry and more.

Rugrats

We can all agree that Rugrats was one of the greatest shows of all time! We seriously watched this series so much when we were kids.

All Grown Up!

When Nickelodeon released a Rugrats spinoff show called All Grown Up! in 2003, it was everything! It followed all our favorite characters when they were in high school, and we were living for it. Unfortunately, it came to an end in 2008.

Doug

Doug was one of the network’s first big shows! It premiered in 1991 and ended in 1999, and we loved it.

SpongeBob SquarePants

It’s safe to say that SpongeBob SquarePants is still one of the most beloved shows of all time. It followed a sponge, as he goes on various adventures with his best friend Patrick, annoys his neighbor Squidward and works at the local burger joint, the Krusty Krab.
