Reality star Tyler Cameron wants fans to know that no, he is not the father of ex-girlfriend Gigi Hadid‘s baby. He addressed trolls who had claimed that the model was pregnant with his kid during an Instagram Live on Tuesday, April 28, and he set the record straight once and for all.
“Congrats on becoming the father,” one Instagram user wrote during his live stream, which seemed to have caught his eye.
“Y’all are wrong in the comments,” he fired back. “Y’all are terrible.”
Sources told E! News that the 27-year-old was pretty “shocked” over the news.
“Tyler was definitely shocked when he heard the news of Gigi’s pregnancy. He got the news the same way the world did and it was shocking to him and his friends. Gigi had never mentioned wanting a family to Tyler, she was just very career driven,” the insider shared. “They haven’t spoken in a while and there’s no lingering feelings between them. They had a lot of fun but Tyler has completely moved on. He wishes her all the best and is happy Gigi is happy.”
As fans know, Life & Style first announced that Gigi and her boyfriend, Zayn Malik, were gearing up to welcome a baby together on April 28, 2020. Then, a few days later, the blonde beauty’s mom, Yolanda Hadid, confirmed that her daughter is indeed pregnant. It’s been reported that the model is 20-weeks along and that she’s having a girl.
“Still shocked our little secret got leaked to the press. Of course we are so excited,” the reality star told Dutch TV program RTL Boulevard. “I’m excited to become Oma in September especially after I lost my mom so recently. But this is the beauty of life, one soul leaves us and a new one comes in. We feel very blessed.”
For those who forgot, Zayn and Gigi made things official in January 2016, and since then, they’ve been on-and-off for almost five years. Back in August, during a break in their relationship, rumors hit the web that Gigi and Tyler were dating after they were spotted cozying at Dumbo House in Brooklyn, NY. In the weeks that followed, the blonde beauty and the Bachelorette runner-up were pretty much inseparable. Tyler was photographed leaving Gigi’s NYC apartment numerous times, and fans even noticed that she was wearing his clothes!
But on October 3, news hit the web that Gigi and Tyler had broken up.
“Tyler is single,” a source told Us Weekly. “He and Gigi Hadid are no longer together.”
Tyler later opened up about the romance, telling fans during a group Zoom call that the 25-year-old ended the relationship because she wanted someone with “real talent.” He added that she is “dating her old man now,” seemingly referring to Zayn.
