OMG, you guys. We’ve shipped Zendaya with her Spider-Man: Homecoming costar Tom Holland and her Greatest Showman costar Zac Efron, but we never thought we’d see the day that the former Disney Channel star would play the love interest of Timothée Chalamet. Wait, what?

You heard that correctly, folks! According to Collider, the K.C. Undercover actress is currently in talks to play the role of Chani in the movie reboot of Dune. The movie, which is based on a science fiction novel, is described as a “space-faring adventure story that is rich with political intrigue and complex machinations.” And while that sounds great and all, we have to admit that we’re simply too wrapped up in the possibility of a Zendaya and Timothée romance to really care about the plot.

In the movie, Timothée will play the role of Paul, but here’s the catch: Apparently, he’ll only need an actress to fill the role of his love interest if the first movie gets the green light for a sequel. This means that it will probably be a while before we find out for sure if the two will actually be working together — especially since the first movie is still in pre-production.

Although it’s unclear at the moment whether or not there will be a second Dune movie, Collider says the Shake It Up star is merely one of a handful of non-white actresses being considered for the part. Still, it sounds promising that she’s at least being considered, and if it were up to us, she would totally get the role in a heartbeat.

Still, there are long ways to go before we get any official confirmation on whether or not this will actually happen. At the moment, there’s no projected release date for the first film, so it sounds like everything’s up in the air at this point. Plus, when the first flick does come out, we’re going to have to wait even longer to see if it does well enough with audiences to even warrant a sequel. But, hey! We can dream, right?
