It’s safe to say that Addison Rae Easterling has taken the internet by storm lately. The 19-year-old has racked up more than 30 million TikTok followers since posting her first video on the app back in July 2019. Now, the social media star has opened up about her job as an influencer and addressed critics who have claimed that TikTok stars “do nothing.”

“I feel like people have the idea that it is a bunch of nothing and we’re just sitting in our rooms making videos and it’s super easy. Yeah it may be a 15 second video, but you want to make it the best 15 seconds that anyone’s ever watched,” she explained while talking to James Charles in a recent video. “It [takes] a lot of time learning the dances, coming up with the dances, coming up with skits and yeah TikTok may be a 15 second video, but when we’re working on other platforms as well, it’s all a big job.”

Addison also said that instead of just solely being on TikTok, she’s created a platform on YouTube, Instagram and Twitter too. Since her claim to fame, the brunette beauty has gained a total of 10 million Instagram followers and, with the help of James, started to churn out more YouTube content. Get ready, people, because there’s plans for more videos soon!

That’s not all! She got real about all the negativity in the social media space and said her goal is to try and always stay positive.

“It’s just staying surrounded by the people that make me feel like a better person and that kind of makes everything fall into place,” she added.

As fans know, this came just a few days after Addison’s former TikTok Hype House squad member Daisy Keech slammed the influencer group in a tell-all video and claimed that there was actually a lot of negativity and feuds going on behind the scenes.
