It’s a sad day because one of our favorite Hollywood couples has called it quits. That’s right, Bella Thorne and Tana Mongeau have ended their yearlong relationship. As fans of know, the actress was dating the YouTube star as well as rapper Mod Sun, but they’ve unfortunately decided to go their separate ways.
The Shake It Up actress took to Twitter on Tuesday, February 26 to share the sad news.
“Tana and I aren’t together anymore, [please] stop asking. We love you guys,” she wrote.
Tana also confirmed the breakup, writing, “I love her forever don’t get that twisted. She changed my life forever. Don’t really wanna talk on it… there’s no negativity at all.”

But when a fan sent their support, adding that they just wanted the girls to be happy, the 20-year-old’s response was heartbreaking.
“I’m not fully. This obviously breaks my heart,” she admitted. “I will be through. As long as she is.”

Ugh, we may or may not be crying.
As fans know, Bella and Tana’s relationship was pretty complicated. It all started after Tana tweeted that she wanted to date the 21-year-old back in 2017. And when the girls ran into each other at the Life Is Beautiful music festival, they shared a steamy kiss that ended up all over social media.
And Tana even revealed that it was love at first sight!
“For me, it was very much instant love, instant infatuation, instant obsession, and my entire life became Bella, Bella, Bella,” Tana gushed in her vlog.
But things got complicated because both women continued to date other men, while they were still dating each other! And when Bella eventually fell for Mod Sun, the three became a “throuple.”
The “Burn So Bright” singer opened up about the complicated relationship to Gay Times back in January of 2019.
“I don’t think anybody will really understand the bonds that I share with Mod or Tana,” she said. “Yeah, we joke around about poly, but we aren’t in the sense that we don’t put a word, a box or label on too many things. It is what it is.”
In September of 2018, the couple shared their one year anniversary, and Tana the sweetest message ever to Bella.
“A year ago this weekend, I met a girl at a music festival who I had no idea would change my life forever,” she wrote. “What started with a viral kissing pic turned to you being the love of my life. You swept me up and introduced me to your entire world. You made my wildest dreams happen. You believed in me and in every aspect when no one else did. You signed me to your label and brought me on every journey with you. You fought for me with everything in you when you didn’t have to. You never gave up on me. You stayed when the going got tough. You encouraged me to be me. You’d wipe the makeup off my face or undo the FaceTune. You’d make me put on silly costumes and wild makeup and not care what anyone had to say. You got a matching tattoo of something I said to you without hesitation. You’d hold me when I cry. You are the most perfect, incredible, talented, confident, resilient, STRONG, SELFLESS individual I’ve ever met and every second I spend with you I’m inspired and grateful.”
Aww. How cute is that? We’re honestly so sad that they’ve decided to go their separate ways. It appears that Bella is still dating Mod Sun.
