It looks like things are heating up between Camila Mendes and her rumored boyfriend, Grayson Vaughan! The Riverdale star and the fashion photographer seemingly confirmed their relationship on Tuesday, June 23, when they were photographed holding hands during an outing in Los Angeles, CA.
In a series of pics obtained by Daily Mail, the actress could be seen rocking a white sweater and shorts, as she walked hand-in-hand with her new beau. He opted for a white hoodie, which he paired with black gym shorts. They looked as happy could be in the snaps!
For those who missed it, Camila and Grayson were first photographed side by side on May 9, 2020, while grabbing iced tea together. Then, on May 15, 2020, paparazzi caught them picking up some food side by side. And on May 20, 2020, the two stars were spotted hanging out once again. However, this is the first time the two showed off any PDA.
The new romance comes just months after news hit the web that Camila and her Riverdale costar Charles Melton had called it quits. A source told E! News in December 2019 that the two stars had broken off their whirlwind romance a few months before that, after one year together.
“Cami and Charles have been separated for a few months now. They are taking a break from their relationship.” the insider dished. “Their relationship escalated very quickly and they are taking time now to focus on their work and themselves.”
According to the outlet, there was a lot of “stress” due to their busy schedules, which caused many “ups and downs” in their relationship.
“They both have movie projects separately and it’s been a lot on both their plates,” the source continued. “Nothing in particular happened, they just both felt busy and overwhelmed and it was a lot of pressure on them.”
On the bright side, things didn’t end on bad terms.
“They are still in touch and both understand they need to be cordial while on set and throughout press for the show. They have been filming together while being split and things have been normal,” the insider revealed. “Everyone is very close on the show and are all very good friends. They can’t ignore each other so they just remain cordial and try and focus on filming.”
