We were all devastated when news hit the web that popular YouTuber Etika had sadly passed away. Police had been investigating his disappearance after he went missing last week, and on Tuesday, June 25, the New York Police Department unfortunately confirmed that he was found dead. The social media star, who’s real name is Desmond Amofah, is known for playing and reviewing video games on YouTube and the streaming platform Twitch.
According to a tweet from the NYPD, the 29-year-old gamer was last heard from on June 19 at about 8 P.M. by phone. Details about his tragic passing are still unclear at this time, although he did previously talk about suicide and mental health issues in his videos.
