TikTok star Chase Hudson has seemingly responded to rumors that he cheated on girlfriend and fellow influencer Charli D’Amelio. On Friday, April 3, Chase posted a series of tweets in which he allegedly addressed the entire situation.
“It always is what it isn’t,” he wrote, adding, “They’ll always paint me as the bad guy.”
“I’m just doing what I love. Don’t try and [f**k] with something that is pure especially when it is false to begin with,” he told his followers, before saying, “I love one woman. Do not tell lies.”
For those who missed it, fans were first convinced that teens officially split up and went their separate ways after Josh Richards dropped a diss track, which allegedly accused Chase of cheating on Charli. Following the song’s release, the brunette beauty fueled speculation that she and Chase had split when she retweeted two posts from an account called @BreakUpQuotes. Naturally, her followers were quick to assume that the cryptic messages were directed toward her former flame.
After Chase’s mini-rant, fellow TikTok star Bryce Hall also took to the social media site and seemingly called out Chase for lying.
“The only lie I see is this tweet,” he wrote back to the 17-year-old. He then claimed everything in Josh’s previously released song was real, writing, “Why would we make a whole diss-track to just spit lies? That kinda defeats the purpose of a ‘diss’ track… Otherwise it would just be a lie-track. No fun.”
As fans know, Chase’s series of social media posts came just after Charli’s mom, Heidi D’Amelio, spoke out about the cheating rumors. According to the screenshot of an Instagram comment obtained by the account TikTok Room, she called the rumors “disgusting.”
“No one but Charli and Chase know what is going on with them! Everyone has decided they know what happened,” Heidi’s alleged comment read. “How can anyone have these thoughts? They are horrible! Please spread positivity! Pleas!! Always!”
Chase nor Charli have responded further.
