TikTok star Chase Hudson has spilled all the tea on his rumored romance with Charli D’Amelio and fans are shook! The 17-year-old revealed to Entertainment Tonight that they are “very exclusive.”
“I’m taking it as slow as humanly possible before I pop the question [of asking her to be my girlfriend],” he revealed. “But we are very exclusive and very into each other.”
For those who don’t know, Chase quickly rose to fame on the TikTok app around November 2019 and has gained over 13 million followers since then. Fans started to speculate that Chase and fellow TikTok star Charli were a couple after they started collaborating on dance videos together. Since then, they have both moved into the TikTok “Hype House” in Los Angeles. Some people have spotted them holding hands in public and a video of Charli and Chase kissing on New Year’s Eve went viral shortly after it was posted to Instagram gossip account, TikTokRoom.
Chase has since set the record straight about where their relationship stands.
“We really like each other, we just don’t wanna put a label on it yet. I told her I wanna take my time and make sure everything’s right for me before I make it official,” he told ET before revealing that they haven’t said “I love you” to each other yet and will take things to the next level “when the time is right.”
Chase also revealed that Charli was the one who suggested that they should be “exclusive.”
“It was like, ‘Do you wanna be exclusive? We need to be exclusive with each other and start taking things more seriously,’ because we started talking to each other about how we felt,” he admitted. “We took a long time because at first it was just fun, poking jokes and a little bit of flirting here and there — and then it really took off later.”
