Queen Demi Lovato speaks out frequently about embracing women of all shapes and sizes, and now she’s showing support for Grammy nominee Bebe Rexha after designers refused to dress her for the event. Wait, what?

We know what you’re thinking: Why in the world would high-end designers refuse to dress the 29-year-old “Meant To Be” singer? She’s beautiful! Honestly, we couldn’t agree more. Unfortunately, some designers think she’s “too big” to rock their dresses on the Grammys red carpet, and if you think you’re frustrated by this, just think how Bebe must feel!

On January 21, the “I’m a Mess” crooner took to Instagram to call out the fashion industry, saying, “So I finally get nominated at the Grammys and it’s like the coolest thing ever, and a lot of times artists will go and talk to designers and they’ll make the custom dresses to walk the red carpet, right? Like you go to any big designer. So I had my team hit out a lot of a designers, and a lot of them do not want to dress me because I’m too big.”

NGL, we’re just as confused as you are. Just because Bebe isn’t a size 0 doesn’t mean she’s not beautiful. In fact, it just means she’s showing the world that there’s more than one female body type and that they should all be celebrated. Regardless, she’s truly an example to us all because she, too, doesn’t want to wear dresses by designers who think she’s too thick.

“If a size 6-8 is too big then I don’t know what to tell you,” she said. “I don’t want to wear your f–king dresses, ’cause that’s crazy. You’re saying that all the women in the world that are a size 8 and up are not beautiful and they cannot wear your dresses. To all the people that say that I’m thick and I can’t wear dresses, f–k you. I don’t want to wear your f–king dresses.” YAS!

Of course, we fully support Bebe, but we’re not the only ones! The “Sorry Not Sorry” singer was sure to show her support in the comments of Bebe’s post.

“F–king preach!!!” the 26-year-old wrote. “Love this and you for speaking your mind and using your voice!!!”

We LOVE women supporting women. More of this in 2019, please!
