The entire world is mourning the tragic loss of Cameron Boyce, who passed away suddenly on July 6, 2019. The Disney Channel star, who was most famous for his roles in Jessie and the Descendants movies, was only 20 years old at the time of his tragic death. Now, his costars are reflecting on the time they spent with the late actor.

Dove Cameron, Booboo Stewart, Sofia Carson and director Kenny Ortega opened up to Good Morning America about his sad passing on Thursday, August 1.

“Even when [Cameron] was around, he is the hardest person to put into words,” Dove said, as she broke down in tears.

“When he walked into the room the light changed and the energy shifted.” Kenny added. “He was bioluminescent, he was lit from the inside out.”

Booboo, 25, who said Cameron was like a brother to him, explained that the late actor was great at giving advice.

“He was the person you’d always ask for if you needed to talk to somebody,” he shared. “He always there and he was that person for everybody.”

As fans know, Cameron unfortunately passed away after suffering from a seizure in his sleep due to the medical condition epilepsy. The entire world, including his fans, friends and costars were devastated over the heartbreaking loss.

“I’m 69 years old, I’ve been alive long enough have witnessed some pretty tough stuff,” Kenny, who worked on three movies with Cameron, continued. “This was as tough as it gets. I didn’t realize that I had as deep a place for pain to come from, that the shock and awe of this unfathomable idea of losing this beautiful soul, with such promise to this world, could possibly be real.”

“If you could bottle up happiness, that was Cam,” Sofia, 26, said. “He was pure happiness and pure joy. There really will never be any words to describe the pain and how much we miss him. And not much helps except knowing that he lived life with more happiness with anyone I’ve ever known.”

But Dove, 23, wants the world to focus on the positive.

“It is a personal loss for so many young people who watch Disney,” the blonde beauty added. “I truly think the best thing we can do for them is to remember Cameron exactly as he was in the most positive way.”

RIP Cameron. You definitely won’t be forgotten.
