Some people are not happy with Kendall and Kylie Jenner. Yep, a bunch of social media users have slammed the reality star sisters following their response to the coronavirus outbreak. They’ve also been accused of not taking precautionary measures, such as social distancing and not touching their faces.

For those who missed it, the World Health Organization has reported that over 340,000 people have contracted virus so far, resulting in more than 15,000 deaths. Medical professionals have called for “social distancing” to prevent further spreading of the illness, which is defined as “trying to keep yourself away from other people, especially large crowds.” Because of this many events, concerts and festivals have been canceled, including all Broadway plays and sports games. People have been asked to avoid public spaces and quarantine themselves during this time.

On March 18, Kendall took to Instagram and posted a photo of herself alongside a group of friends hanging out. Followers were quick to criticize the model for not following the request of medical professions, and some said she was taking the coronavirus pandemic “mildly.”

On the other hand, Kylie posted a since-expired Instagram Stories video on March 19, and urged her millions of followers to stay indoors. Some people trolled the reality star with nasty comments after she expressed how series the disease really is.

“Wow I had no idea! Thanks Kylie!” a Twitter user who reposted the clip wrote. Another added, “We laugh at her, but [thousands] of people are probably taking it seriously now because of this.”

One fan stood up for the Kylie Cosmetics founder, “[At] least she’s saying SOMETHING to encourage all her young a** fans to stay home. Lots of young people don’t believe it’s serious.”

As fans know, this came just days after she was spotted on social media posting a photo with her finger in her mouth, despite precautionary coronavirus measures that tell people to keep their hands away from their face. Now, the reality star has seemingly self-quarantined and has been using her personal and brand social media accounts to “share news, updates and recommendations from public health officials.”
