Prepare yourselves, people, because a bunch of your favorite stars teamed up with famed radio host Elvis Duran for his upcoming “Stay At Home Ball” fundraiser set to raise money for hospitals and healthcare first responders in need during the current coronavirus pandemic. Over 50 musicians have agreed to perform on Friday, April 24, and we seriously can’t wait!
The Elvis Duran and the Morning Show host is partnering with talent booker Steven Levine for the event, who teased the epic lineup and told fans in a statement, “We have some special moments in the show Friday night I’m proud of. You’ll get to sing along with some of your favorite artists and experience a special connection with them. We’ll also introduce fans to some new artists who I believe will be on everyone’s playlist by the weekend! We’re grateful to our music friends who put their heart and soul into these inspiring performances, and all for an incredible cause!”
For those who missed it, over 2,600,000 people have contracted the coronavirus so far, resulting in more than 185,000 deaths. Medical professionals have called for “social distancing” to prevent further spreading of the illness, which is defined as “trying to keep yourself away from other people, especially large crowds.” Because of this many events, concerts, award shows, conventions and festivals have been canceled, including all Broadway plays and sports games. People are urged to stay indoors, avoid public places and isolate themselves during this time.
So who will be performing at the event? AJR, Alec Benjamin, Alessia Cara, Alexander Jean, Alex Aiono, Ally Brooke, Andy Grammer, Anthony Ramos, Austin Mahone, Bebe Rexha, Bryce Vine, Charlie Puth, Devin Kennedy, Dinah Jane, Donna Missal, Echosmith, Elle Winter, Faouzia, Greyson Chance, Hailee Steinfeld, Hunter Hayes, Ido, Jagwar Twin, Jake Miller, Jason Derulo, Jesse McCartney, Jewel, John.K, Jojo, Jordan McGraw, Julia Michaels & JP Saxe, Kesha, KT Tunstall, Laura Marano, Lauv, Leslie Odom Jr., Lewis Capaldi, Lovely The Band, Malia Civetz, Mary Lambert, Max, Meghan Trainor, Niall Horan, Nick Fradiani, Pete Wentz, Rayvon Owen, Shinedown, Siva, Sofia Carson, Spencer Sutherland, Stephan Jenkins, David Shaw, Thomas Rhett, Train and Travis Garland are set to appear.
