As they gear up to welcome their first child together, Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid are reportedly “closer than ever!”
A source told Us Weekly, “Gigi has been living at her mom’s farm with Zayn,. She came back to NYC recently but she plans to spend most of her pregnancy there at the farm.”
For those who missed it, the blonde beauty confirmed that she was pregnant on April 30, 2020, after rumors started circulating that she was expecting, and it’s been reported that she is having a girl.
“Obviously, we wish we could’ve announced it on our own terms, but we’re very excited and happy and grateful for everyone’s well wishes and support,” Gigi said during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon at the time.
Days later, her mom, Yolanda Hadid, revealed that the baby is due this September!
“Still shocked our little secret got leaked to the press. Of course we are so excited,” the reality star told Dutch TV program RTL Boulevard. “I’m excited to become Oma in September especially after I lost my mom so recently. But this is the beauty of life, one soul leaves us and a new one comes in. We feel very blessed.”
“She’s always wanted to start a family with Zayn,” another insider told the outlet, adding that the pair is “so in love” with one another.
As for the One Direction singer, he’s “over the moon” about becoming a father, and is treating the model “like a princess” while she’s carrying their baby.
“[He’s] constantly asking her if she’s OK and running around after her,” a friend close to the couple divulged to Life & Style. “Finding out that he’s going to be a dad has put a smile back on Zayn’s face. He has a more positive outlook on life and really pulled himself together.”
“They can’t wait to become parents,” another source told them. How sweet?!
