Days after Gigi Hadid confirmed that she was expecting her first baby with Zayn Malik, some fans are convinced that they just dropped a major hint they’re secretly gearing up to walk down the aisle together! That’s right, there’s rumors making their way around the internet that the couple is getting married, so we decided to investigate once and for all.
OK, so it all started when jeweler George Khalife shared a snap of Zayn and Gigi’s wrists after he made them custom matching gold eye bracelets.
“Good vibes only for this beautiful couple!” he captioned the sweet pic, which showed them wearing the jewelry and holding hands.
But their matching bracelets wasn’t the only clue that they’re getting ready to exchange their vows. In another pic of the bracelet, fans were quick to notice that the One Direction member had a new tattoo on his arm that hinted weddings were on his mind. The new ink design was actually a quote from Kahil Gabran’s poem “On Love and Marriage,” which quickly sent the internet into a frenzy.
“You were born together and together you shall be forevermore / But let there be spaces in your togetherness and let the winds of the Heavens dance between you / Love possesses not nor would it be possessed / Love one another but make it not a bond of love / Let it rather be a moving sea between the shores of your souls,” the poem reads. “Sing and dance together and be joyous but let each one of you be alone / Give your hearts but not into each other’s keeping / Stand together yet not too near together / For the pillars of the temple stand apart and the oak tree and the cypress grow not in each other’s shadow.”
“The same bracelet, the plastic ring on your finger, the poem about marriage… Nothing gets the possibility that Zayn and Gigi are married out of my head,” one fan wrote, with another adding, “Zayn and Gigi got matching bracelets. Zayn has a new tattoo — Kahil Gabran’s poem ‘On Love and Marriage.’ Y’all, they’re getting married, my Zigi heart is so happy!”
For those who missed it, the 25-year-old model revealed that she was pregnant on April 30, 2020. It’s been reported that she is 20-weeks along and that she’s having a girl. Obviously, until the pair confirm anything, it’s all speculation that they’re getting marred — but we certainly hope this is true!
