Fans have been shipping Maddie Ziegler and Kailand Morris ever since they met backstage while their younger siblings Mackenzie Ziegler and Mandla Morris were competing on Dancing with the Stars: Juniors. The 16-year-old dancer has been hanging out with the cutie quite a lot recently, and tbh, we’re all about it! Now, Maddie is addressing their relationship publicly for the first time ever. And while she did not confirm that they are, in fact, dating – she totally blushes when talking about him, if you ask us!
“See, the thing is, we’re all great friends. Dancing With The Stars, you make a family there and all of us together, his younger brother Mandla, all of us hang out literally every day together. It’s so fun,” Maddie explained in an interview on The Talk. “People assume everything, but we’ve had a great time and we’re all so close. And I love them so much.”
So who is Kailand? The 17-year-old is a model, but that’s not all! He also just so happens to be the son of major musical legend, Stevie Wonder. Talk about a star-studded couple!
Just recently, the rumored lovebirds went to Disneyland with a bunch of friends and both posted photos from their day of fun on Instagram.
Kailand wasn’t the only guy Maddie was rumored to be linked to through a DWTS connection. When Maddie appeared on an episode of Dancing With the Stars to dance in a trio with Alexis Ren and Alan Bersten, rumors started swirling! You see, Milo Manheim‘s partner, Witney Carson, was trying to set him up with Maddie. The 17-year-old Zombies star made it clear that nothing was going to happen between them, so could it be that she was already taken? Hmm…
“Look. I love Maddie, she’s a great girl, but it’s not going to happen. It’s just not going to happen. There’s so many reasons. She is super cool and I really do like her, and I hope to know her for a long time. It’s funny because she would have the exact same response as I’m having right now,” Milo told ET.
Previously, Maddie dated Jack Kelly – but the pair called things off this past summer.
Well, whenever Maddie is ready to open up about her love life, we’re ready to listen! In the meantime, we’ll be coming up with some possible ship names… Madland? Kailie? The possibilities are endless!
