We all love when an actor or actress puts his all into a role, right? Well, in the case of Jacob Elordi, he may have taken it a little too far. The actor just revealed that he got so into playing his character, Nate Jacobs, in Euphoria, that he actually got seriously injured while on set! In the show’s season finale, Nate and his father, Cal (played by Eric Dane) got a violent fight, and it turns out, Jacob actually let his costar punch him IRL.

“Eric and I, we’re incredibly close, so I basically said to him, ‘Let’s rock and roll and make it sort of as real as possible,’ because I think it’s super important and he was on-board as well. So Eric f–king smashed me,” the Kissing Booth star told Entertainment Weekly. “I was bleeding. I got a concussion. I ended up throwing up after work. It was gnarly. It was really, really gnarly.”

Um, ouch. We are so glad he’s OK! But the 22-year-old explained that despite getting hurt, filming the HBO series was super rewarding.

“It came at the end of my shooting period. I was just wrapping the show around that time, so it was almost like this massive letting go of everything over the eight months that we filmed. It was incredibly grueling, but it was so worthwhile,” he added. “It was definitely the most fulfilling thing that I’ve sort of ever shot.”

As fans knows, Jacob isn’t the only celebrity to get hurt while filming a movie or TV show. Back in January, María Gabriela de Faría revealed that her Deadly Class costar Lana Condor did a ton of her own stunts for the SYFY show. And one of them led to her getting a concussion! Yikes, these stars really need to be more careful.
