There’s no more bad blood between YouTubers Jeffree Star and Gabriel Zamora. On Wednesday, December 11, it appeared the two makeup artists laid their famous feud to rest when Jeffree took to his Instagram Stories and posted a mirror selfie of himself alongside Gabriel. The 34-year-old tagged the 26-year-old and added a filter that read “Good Vibes.” Followers took the positive caption to mean that the two are finally on good terms.
For those who don’t know, in November 2017 fans first speculated that Jeffree was no longer friends with Gabriel and beauty gurus Laura Lee, Nikita Dragun and Manny MUA after posted a since-deleted photo with the caption, “walking in my ex best friend’s funeral like.”
In August 2018, Jeffree got real about the alleged falling out in a video uploaded to his channel about his ex-friends in the beauty community.
“People still don’t really know what went on,” he said. “Why do I feel like they need to know? Because there are so many versions of things that never happened out there. Half of the people still think I’m the bad guy, when I only loved and cared about all these people, boosted them up, and gave them all my connections, but I’m still the f**king bad guy.”
Laura, Gabriel, Nikita and Manny seemingly responded to the video by tweeting a picture of their friend group holding their middle fingers up with the caption, “B***h is bitter because without him we’re doing better.”
After the image went viral, Gabriel apologized to Jeffree via YouTube and it seemed that the former friends had finally let go of all the hate. During his recent docu-series with Shane Dawson, The Beautiful World of Jeffree Star, the makeup artist confirmed to fans that him and Gabriel were “totally cool.”
“He came to my house and he apologized man-to-man,” he said.
