The internet pretty much lost it when news hit the web that Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner got married in Las Vegas on May 1, 2019. The ceremony occurred after the 2019 Billboard Music Awards, and we had a ton of picture and video proof – courtesy of Diplo. That’s right. The DJ attended the wedding, and lucky for us, he documented the entire thing on his Instagram Stories and Instagram Live!

Well guys, although it may have been pretty exciting for us to watch, the Jonas Brothers singer just revealed that he wasn’t a huge fan of the producer livestreaming his wedding. He even admitted it may have “ruined” the night.

“He did ruin it,” the 29-year-old told Capital FM on Wednesday, May 29. “I love Diplo but he loves his ‘gram more than a 13-year-old. He posts every five seconds. He literally livestreamed [our wedding] with dog face filters.”

But Joe and Sophie, 23, made the most of the situation.

“We just laughed, we loved it,” he added. “We thought it was ridiculous. I just love that he was walking into the chapel and he was like, ‘Gonna hit this wedding real quick.'”

In case you missed it, the wedding was a pretty low-key affair. Joe’s brothers were there, as well as a few of their celebrity friends, including Khalid and musical duo Dan + Shay (who performed their hit “Speechless” as the pair walked down the aisle). And want to know the best part? An Elvis impersonator officiated their marriage! Not to mention that besides normal wedding bands, the lovebirds also exchanged Ring Pops. LOL. And thanks to Diplo, we got to watch the entire thing, including the moment that they officially became husband and wife!

“I promise you, I will never leave you. I will love and trust you, all the days of my life,” the “Sucker” crooner and the Game of Thrones actress said to one another in the sweet clip. “In sickness and in health… forever and ever.”

Awww. Our hearts! Although Joe admitted they haven’t had time for a honeymoon yet, it’s definitely going to happen.

“We’ve got plans that we’ll be hush-hush about,” he told the radio station. “But we’ll make time for that.”

We seriously couldn’t be happier for the couple.
