You guys might want to brace yourselves because we have some exciting news for you guys. Drum roll please… Joey King was just spotted cozying up to a new man! Yep, she was reportedly caught packing on the PDA with producer Steven Piet, and um, we are so here for this rumored new couple.
The two stars attended Cinespia’s screening of Harry Potter and The Chamber of Secrets at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery on Monday, September 2 together. And according to E! News, they could not keep their hands off each other! And get this, you guys — the 20-year-old Kissing Booth actress’ sisters Hunter and Kelli King also joined them, which means Steven’s already met her family. OMG.
“They were very affectionate and were with her two sisters sitting watching the movie together. Joey and Steven cuddled the entire time and looked very happy together,” an onlooker told the outlet. “They had snacks and drinks and were laughing with her sisters.”
So who is her new beau, you ask? Well, he co-produced and co-directed the Hulu series The Act, which, as fans know, Joey starred in. He also worked on the TV shows Nightflyers, Channel Zero and Briarpatch. He seems like a pretty private person, and he doesn’t even have any social media!
Before Steven, Joey was previously linked to her Kissing Booth costar Jacob Elordi. They were pretty much goals back in the day — posting adorable, PDA-filled photos together, gushing over each other in interviews and even walking the red carpet together — until they unfortunately split in November 2018. And although they recently reunited to film The Kissing Booth 2, it’s pretty clear that they’ve both moved on. How do we know? Well, fans are speculating that Jacob is dating former Shake It Up actress Zendaya, after the two stars were spotted on vacation in Greece together.
Before that, there were rumors that Joey dated Modern Family actor Nolan Gould after they were spotted on a series of dates, although they never confirmed their romance.
Well, Joey and Steven definitely make an adorable couple, and if they are dating, we couldn’t be happier for them!
