This may come as a shock, but Justin Bieber has over 60 tattoos. The singer got his first ink when he was only 16 years old, and since then, he’s gone on to accumulate them all over his body! They cover his arms, his chest and his legs, and they’ve definitely become a huge part of him. But there’s one place that Justin has no desire to get tatted.
“I promised myself I didn’t want to get tattoos on my hands and so I don’t think I’m going to get tattoos on my hands,” he admitted during a March 2021 interview with Sirius XM’s The Morning Mash-Up. “Something about just being able to wear a suit and not having tattoos on my hands, I don’t know.”
Just also explained that he’s fully aware that his hands are “really one of my only places left or my feet or my legs.”
As for his next ink design, the Justice crooner said, “Maybe I’ll get a like a small peach on my body somewhere.” Of course, this is a reference to his March 2021 single, “Peaches.”
When it comes to his favorite tattoo, Justin told Vogue magazine that he loves the animals he’s gotten over the years. “The bear, which I got in New Zealand, represents rest,” he explained. “As tough and resilient as a bear is, it always hibernates, which is so important. We as humans go, go, and go without resting and it can leave us exhausted and drained.”
Justin noted that his lion ink symbolizes “being bold, courageous, strong,” while the bird on his neck is “a reminder to use the gifts God has given me and give it all I have — to fly above all of the bulls–t.”
Deeply rooted in his faith, the Canadian crooner explained, “The cross in the middle of my chest is a symbol of my faith, and a reminder of what Jesus endured to rectify all that was broken.”
