It’s clear that the One Direction guys have a bond that can never be broken! Yep, more than five years after the band announced that they were taking an indefinite hiatus, Liam Payne just revealed that he and Louis Tomlinson are still just as close as ever.
According to the “Strip That Down” crooner, not only do the guys speak on a regular basis, but they often come to each other for advice about fatherhood! How sweet is that?!
“Me and Louis speak about it quite a lot,” he told Access, when asked who he turns to for advice when it comes to being a dad. “He phones me up every so often. It’s great hearing from another dad who is also outside of the situation and has to go visit and go in and out [due to work]. It’s interesting hearing the dynamic of his situation. His son’s a tiny bit older than mine, so I get a lot of lessons and different things from him.”
For those who forgot, the 26-year-old singer welcomed his son, Bear, with his ex-girlfriend Cheryl Cole back in March 2017. As for Louis, he became a dad in January 2016, when his ex-girlfriend Briana Jungwirth gave birth to a baby boy named Freddie. Now, the toddler is almost 4 years old, and he looks just like his daddy!
Liam’s admission comes just days after he revealed that the guys were planning something special for their upcoming 10th anniversary as a band.
“We’ve got a ten-year anniversary coming up so we’ve all been speaking together a lot over the last few weeks which has been really nice,” he told The Sun. “At the moment I’m not sure what I’m allowed to say. There’s a number of different things that we are all working on to try and make happen and people are forwarding emails around. But more than anything it’s just been a real good time for us to connect together again.”
