Is Lil Xan OK? Fans are seriously worried about the rapper — whose real name is Nicholas Diego Leanos —  after reports hit the web on Tuesday, April 21, that he had been rushed to the hospital this past weekend due to a panic attack caused by the current coronavirus pandemic.

According to the 23-year-old himself, he was quarantining with his mom on Sunday, April 19, when she called 911 after he was “hallucinating so badly it was freaking her out.” Noah Cyrus‘ ex-boyfriend claimed that doctors told him that he had suffered from a panic attack, but he said he doesn’t recall much of what happened.

The “Betrayed” crooner explained that he has been “in and out” of hospitals for years due to his anxiety issues and felt like this episode was caused by the stress of the stay-at-home orders. Although he’s been staying at home, he explained that he’s been trying to stay away from the news to curb the anxiety and admitted that social media is not helping. Lil Xan added that this was the worst panic attack he ever had and explained that, due to the coronavirus, some of his biggest appearances have been canceled and his album was delayed.

For those who missed it, over 2,500,000 people have contracted the virus so far, resulting in more than 170,000 deaths. Medical professionals have called for “social distancing” to prevent further spreading of the illness, which is defined as “trying to keep yourself away from other people, especially large crowds.” Because of this many events, concerts, award shows, conventions and festivals have been canceled, including all Broadway plays and sports games. People are urged to stay indoors, avoid public places and isolate themselves during this time.

As fans know, this came just days after Lil Xan was spotted hanging out with his ex just one year after their big, public breakup back in September 2018. Photos seemingly showed the two musicians driving in a car together around Los Angeles. Prior to their outing, the hip-hop star took to Instagram and shared that he has been feeling “lonely” amid the current pandemic.
