It looks like Lindsay Lohan has made it her mission to get Liam Hemsworth‘s attention! On Friday, December 23, the Freaky Friday actress left a flirty comment on The Hunger Games actor’s most recent Instagram post.
“Wow what an epic day this was. Great way to wrap up the year! Thanks [Urbn Surf] I’ll be back real soon,” Liam captioned a series of photos of him surfing. To which Lindsay responded with a praying hands emoji in the comments section.
Fans were quick to troll the Lohan’s Beach Club star and call her out for flirting.
“Mate, I’m Liam’s thirsty commenter here. Don’t come for my position,” one wrote. Another added, “Wow, you are living in a fantasy land, huh?”
Others defended Lindsay and said she should be able to interact with the Australian actor on social media.
“Flirt with whatever you want!” a fan said. A second quipped, “Why y’all hating, she can do what she wants, get over yourself.”
As fans know this came just a few days after Liam finalized his divorce with ex-wife Miley Cyrus. Some speculated that Lindsay left the thirsty comment on the hunky actor’s post to fuel the fire in her feud with Miley. For those who missed it, in October 2019, the Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen star fired shots at the singer and her current boyfriend Cody Simpson on social media.
Back in August 2018, Cody dated the actress’ younger sister, Ali Lohan, and Lindsay said that he “settled for less” in his relationship with Miley. This caused a rift between the two former Disney stars.
“When you realize you failed. And you settle for less [Cody Simpson],” she captioned a since-deleted throwback photo of the former flames from 2018. “Family is everything, you won The Masked Singer but you lost on your future.”
