Prepare to be shook, you guys, because Mod Sun just revealed that he and his ex-girlfriend Bella Thorne got married and divorced while they were dating! Say what?!
As fans know, the former Shake It Up star simultaneously dated both the rapper and YouTuber Tana Mongeau earlier this year. And while speaking to TooFab about Tana’s recent engagement to Jake Paul, Mod admitted that he had been down that road himself.
“I got engaged, married and divorced in 15 months in Hollywood, so, you know what I’m saying?” Mod told the outlet. “That’s what we do out here on these streets. We’re out here putting rings on it! That’s what our generation does, we put a ring on it, you know what I’m saying?”
And while TooFab reported that the rapper was indeed referring to Bella, the pair never filed any paperwork to make their union official. He also had some important marriage advice for the young couple.
“If you do any business together, get your paperwork right. Don’t get a dog together. Wait, let it play out, and uh, don’t film, too much, on your own phone,” he said.
As fans know, rumors first started swirling that the 32-year-old and the “Walk With Me” singer had tied the knot back in February 2019, when he uploaded a video from what appeared to be their wedding. In the clip, Mod wore a white tuxedo, while Bella, 21, donned a white dress and a rainbow vail. The two shared in a steamy kiss as their friends cheered them on and threw flowers at them.
“We split but this was still a beautiful moment in my life,” he captioned it.
The couple was together for more than two years before they broke up in April 2019. And in the months that followed the shocking split, a lot has gone down between them. Mod accused the actress of cheating on him and get this — he even joked about selling her stuff online. Yeah, it definitely hasn’t been pretty.
