As the due date for her new baby nears, Katy Perry decided to give fans a look inside her baby’s nursery! Yep, during her weekly Smile Sunday show on Sunday, August 16, the pregnant singer showed us all the adorable room that her new child is going to live in.
“Hey everyone, I’m going to show you my baby room,” the “Roar” songstress told viewers during the livestream.
Throughout the video, she displayed the baby’s crib, rocking chair and changing area! Naturally, everything in the room was different shades of pink, since she’s already confirmed that she’s expecting a girl.
She even let fans take a look inside her upcoming daughter’s wardrobe by showing the camera some of her super cute onesies — including one with her fiancé, Orlando Bloom‘s face on it!
As fans know, the American Idol judge dropped the bombshell news that she and the Pirates of the Caribbean star were expecting when she released the music video for her new song “Never Worn White” on March 4, 2020. In the visual, she showed off her growing baby bump.
Afterwards, she confirmed the pregnancy during an Instagram live, admitting that it was “probably the longest secret” she has “ever had to keep.” She also revealed that her due date is sometime in the summer!
Then, on April 4, 2020, she revealed that they were having a baby girl! She shared a snap of the actor with pink cake all over his face, which she captioned, “It’s a girl,” along with some pink hearts.
The 35-year-old recently opened up about her pregnancy, telling The Sunday Times, “I feel really good. I love my body and I’m proud of it. I’ve had extremely high highs and extremely low lows and I’ve heard that having children is like the best gift of all, so I’m ready to step into that role and receive the unconditional love that I had a hard time receiving years ago. I’ve been through an emotional journey and I feel very grounded. And I should feel grounded because I’m 185 f**ing pounds right now.”
