How does Orlando Bloom feel about having a baby girl with fiancée, Katy Perry? Well, from the sound of it, he couldn’t be happier!
“I’ve been feeling very grateful, obviously, I have a little baby girl on the way,” the actor said during a recent appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. “I’m so excited to have a little daddy’s girl. I hope she’s going to love me as much as I love her. That daddy girl thing and that love of your life feeling is right around there.”
As fans know, these comment came about a month after the Pirates of the Caribbean alum told the Associated Press that he’s inspired by how Katy’s been handling herself throughout her pregnancy, calling her “a force of nature.”
“It’s been really impressive. There’s no complaining. She’s just all about it. It’s pretty awe-inspiring to see the way she handles herself at this time. It’s just business as usual,” he dished at the time.
For those who missed it, Katy and Orlando first announced that they were gearing up to welcome their first child together back in March. The American Idol judge dropped the bombshell news when she released the music video for her new song “Never Worn White” on March 4, 2020. The video ended with Katy caressing her belly in a white dress before turning to the side to show off her growing baby bump. Then, on April 4, 2020, the brunette beauty revealed that they were expecting a baby girl!
She even took to Instagram and showed off her first sonogram photo with her fans. But everyone could not stop laughing when they noticed that the unborn baby was coincidentally giving the camera the middle finger! LOL. It looks like Katy’s child is already rebelling — from the womb!
As for when fans can expect the baby girl to make her debut into the world, she told fans during a new edition of her “Smile Sunday” livestream, “this week, there has been a shift, that means baby Kat is preparing.” So, it’s safe to say she’s coming soon!
