Over the years, Justin Bieber has released a ton of music videos with stars who’ve come a long way.
Jasmine Villegas, for example, made her debut playing the Canadian crooner’s girlfriend in the “Baby” music video. After her appearance in the visual, she was able to launch her own music career.
“Now that I have two kids, it’s given me the push to want to be able to get back into music and get back into my career where I stopped,” Jasmine told J-14 exclusively in August 2020. “So, I’m rebuilding again and that’s kind of where I’m at right now.”
When it comes to making music, Jasmine has released a few songs, including “Lessons” and Personal,” among others. She also sang in Spanish for the first time on her 2020 song “Real You.” The actress told J-14: “I’m half Mexican, so loving where I came from, loving my nationalities, I wanted to be able to give my fans a little bit of spice up into the song. They’ve been wanting me to sing Spanish for so long and I’ve always been so scared that I was going to pronounce it wrong or people were going to make fun of me. So, it took me a few tries, but I was able to do it.”
Of course, she’s not the only notable name who was cast alongside the singer for one of his music videos. Zoey Deutch starred in the boxing-themed music video for his January 2021 single “Anyone.”
“I had to learn how to drive stick shift approximately two minutes before driving very fast alongside him while he ran and raced me,” the Politician actress said in a Vevo Footnotes behind-the-scenes video. “Considering I’m already a terrible driver in a normal car, not just a beat up stick shift car, I was concerned about Justin’s safety. But we all made it out alive!”
Elsewhere in the video, Zoey recalled: “The kiss was one take and the very very last shot of the two-day video shoot. I added the ‘I love you,’ because, well, why not?”
