Days after Jake Paul admitted that his marriage to Tana Mongeau was never real, the YouTuber seemingly dissed her ex-boyfriend in a brand new video. Yep, the blonde beauty posted a super shady TikTok over the weekend, and some fans are convinced that it was directed towards Jake.
In the new video, the social media star mouthed the lyrics to Alissa Violet and Ricegum‘s song “It’s Every Night Sis” — a diss track Alissa wrote back in 2017 after her own relationship with Jake ended. In the lyrics to the song, Alissa alleged that Jake had cheated on her and accused him of treating her badly.
“I remember where I was when this song dropped. Had no idea I’d marry the subject. Vibes,” Tana captioned it.
For those who forgot, the internet pretty much lost it when news hit the web that Jake and Tana were dating back in April 2019. After that, the two stars quickly became couple goals. They were always hanging out, posting adorable PDA-filled pictures on social media, gushing over each other, vlogging together and having the cutest interactions.
The couple got engaged in July 2019 and married one month later, but at the time, a lot of people speculated that their whirlwind romance wasn’t real and that they were faking it for views. Especially when news hit the web that their marriage was not even technically legal. But at the time, both stars insisted that their love was very real.
Then, in January 2020, the couple announced that they were taking a break. And in May 2020, while speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Jake finally admitted that their relationship was fake after all.
“Yeah, my old relationships. There’s a line where some of it’s real and some of it’s not,” he said, while discussing his new girlfriend, Julia Rose. “How do I say this? [My relationship with Tana] was not… Listen, we all do things sometimes, and sometimes you end up getting fake married. I’ll leave it at that.”
