YouTube star Tana Mongeau has nothing but love for her husband’s latest single, “These Days.” During a recent interview with Clevver News, the 21-year-old revealed that despite him admitting he misses ex-girlfriend Alissa Violet in the track, she’s “proud” of Jake Paul‘s new song.

“I’m proud of him, I’m so proud of him for making music, for making anything where he’s expressing himself and I don’t want anyone to misconstrue that. I f**king love Alissa. It’s obviously hard sometimes when you see that stuff and it looks like it’s at your expense,” she told the news outlet after the song was released on Friday, December 13. “It’s intense, it’s complicated, but we’re living and we’re working through it.”

For those who missed it, the Team 10 star took the internet by storm on December 3, when he announced the song with a steamy photo almost locking lips with his ex. The pair parted ways back in 2018 after a huge cheating scandal between Alissa and The Paul Brothers. However, their Instagram photo had some people thinking that the two were back together.

Fans were quick to speculate that there trouble in was paradise between married Jake and Tana. Rumors of their possible breakup continued to hit the internet after Tana announced on Instagram that she was taking a social media break to “grow.” The internet star told Clevver News that her beau’s song did, indeed, contribute to her decision to take a break.

“I think [it] was definitely one of the things that contributed to my social media break because it’s just like, having thousands and thousands of people weigh in on your deepest emotions is very — it affects you a lot,” she explained. “I didn’t want to look at that.”

Fortunately, it seems like there’s no end in sight for #Jana. The two have continued to show off their PDA-filled relationship all over social media and on December 12, the couple announced that they were in the process of filming a new show for MTV!
