Try not to panic, Swifties, but Taylor Swift is back and better than ever! After weeks of speculation that a butterfly mural at The Gulch in Nashville is somehow linked to her upcoming music, the pop star officially confirmed it herself via Instagram Stories. Wait, what?

That’s right, you guys! It’s really happening! The “Look What You Made Me Do” songstress shared a series of videos on the social media app, where she revealed what diehard fans have been suspecting for weeks now.

“OK, so we’ve commissioned this butterfly mural to be painted on a wall in Nashville and put clues about the song and the new music in the mural, so I’m going to go show up,” she said. Casual.

“The butterfly mural is painted by Kelsey Montague, who painted one of my favorite murals in New York,” she added. “And let’s go see what happens.”

As you could probably imagine, absolute Swift-sanity occurred upon her arrival. Fans of the singer were standing at the site of the mural all morning after getting tipped off that she would be visiting the artwork live and in person. For hours, livestreams from local news channels were broadcasting nothing but the artist, Kelsey Montague, as she put the finishing touches on her work. At one point, it didn’t seem like the 29-year-old was going to show at all.

Alas, the “Delicate” singer did show up — pink hair chalk and all — and she spent a bunch of time walking around and showing love for the fans who’ve been with her for over a decade.

What an actual real-life princess she is! As for the mural and the symbols included — well, we’re still trying to figure those out. What we do know is that in between the butterfly’s wings is the word “Me,” so of course, some fans are utterly convinced that’s the title of her next single, which will likely be released on April 26.

Of course, that’s just one of several theories, and fans have been hard at work trying to analyze everything she’s ever done or posted online over the past two or more years in order to get some solid answers. For example, do you think it’s a coincidence that her 2010 song “The Story of Us” is four minutes and 26 seconds long and that she’s been teasing a release for April 26? Well, many fans aren’t convinced at all, which is why another theory is that the title will be called “The Story of Me.” How interesting!

Other than that, the countdown is on, people! And we don’t know what your plans are for the day, but we’ll probably be staring at pics of the mural and trying to piece together all the clues we can between now and midnight. We didn’t choose the Swiftie life, the Swiftie life chose us.
