The Grammys is definitely going to be a star-studded night. With performances from Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello you will not want to miss it! Not to mention that BTS will be presenting their first ever award in the U.S. So yeah, it definitely seems like all of our favorite stars will be there.

But it turns out, not everyone is attending. According to Variety, Taylor Swift is skipping out on the big event, and we’re pretty bummed. But don’t worry guys, the singer’s actually got a pretty good (and adorable) reason for not attending.

According to reports, the 28-year-old will be attending the British Academy Film Awards in London to support her boyfriend, Joe Alwyn, instead! Aww, how sweet is that?

As fans of the “Look What You Made Me Do” songstress know, Taylor’s album Reputation is nominated for the award for Best Pop Vocal Album. But since she’s currently in the U.K. filming the upcoming adaptation of the musical Cats, it totally makes sense for her to attend the BAFTAs instead.

Joe’s movie, The Favourite, received 12 nominations at the BAFTAs, which is taking place on the same night as the Grammys — Sunday, February 10. And since Joe and Taylor, who have been happily in love since they started dating in May of 2017, are constantly supporting each other’s work, we wouldn’t be surprised if she attended the event with her man.

Just last month, the blonde beauty supported Joe the 2019 Golden Globes, where his movie was nominated for five awards. Not to mention that the record-breaking artist made some appearances at a few of her beau’s movie premieres. Plus, Joe was spotted cheering the superstar on at her Reputation Stadium Tour. It’s seriously so cute that they always have each other’s backs!

Over the span of her six studio albums, Taylor has managed to rack up 32 Grammy nominations and 10 wins. Fans are praying that on Sunday night, she takes home another!
