Well, Yara Shahidi and Charles Melton sure have a big reason to celebrate. The two are starring in The Sun Is Also a Star, and lucky for us, the movie premieres so soon – May 17, to be exact! The on-screen couple stepped out to celebrate the big red (er, blue) carpet premiere on May 13, and to say it was a star-studded event would be a major understatement.
Best part? Charles’ real-life girlfriend (and Riverdale costar), Camila Mendes, not only brought her style A-game to the premiere — but the couple also couldn’t be cuter together while posing for photographers! Not only did Charles plant a kiss on Cami’s cheek, but the two also couldn’t stop giggling.
But that’s not all. Yara’s fellow Grown-ish and Black-ish cast members were there to support her too! Yep, that’s right. Francia Raisa, Chloe and Halle Bailey, Marcus Scribner and Marsai Martin all came out to show their friend some love on her big night.
