Fans were seriously living when the Victorious cast had a virtual reunion on March 27, 2020, in honor of the show’s 10th anniversary. Yep, it’s been more than 10 years since the hilarious series premiered on Nickelodeon, and the cast hopped on a video chat to celebrate! But what did Victoria Justice, Matt Bennett, Ariana Grande, Avan Jogia, Liz Gillies, Daniella Monet, Eric Lange, Leon Thomas III and Dan Schneider talk about? Well, Daniella just spilled all the tea on what went down during the iconic reunion.
“We could have been on there forever. I feel like we all just really enjoying everyone’s company,” the actress gushed on her “Adulting Like A Mother Father” podcast. “One thing we talked about on the Zoom call was what are some things we hear about to this day in regards to our characters? Like Leon said [fans] always ask, ‘Where’s your grandma?’ Matt said, ‘Where’s Rex?’ Ari said that everyone wants her to talk in her Cat voice or they say, ‘Why don’t you talk like that?’”
As for her character, the 31-year-old explained, “People always wonder like why I’m not super annoying in person. They think I’m very different than Trina which is the point because we’re playing roles!”
This comes just days after Matt opened up via his Instagram Stories about what he thought his character, Robbie Shapiro, would be doing now, and honestly, we couldn’t have predicted his future better ourselves.
“I’m hoping that things worked out for him. I’m hoping that he got a successful career as a talk show host, maybe like a Jimmy Fallon. I would like to see that for Robbie,” the actor explained.
He also revealed which Victorious episode is his all time favorite!
“My favorite episode of Victorious is probably ‘Trapped In An RV.’ It was the first one where everyone from the show was in the same place at the same time and it brought out a whole bunch of interesting dynamics,” he said. “I think it’s a fan favorite as well. Everybody really liked seeing all of us together, having a good time.”
