Exciting news, fam! YouTube stars Shane Dawson and Ryland Adams are officially engaged to be married, and the photo evidence of the proposal is just too cute to bear.
Shane took to Instagram on March 19, 2019, to announce their engagement and to share a series of epic pictures from their romantic evening — including a photo of him getting down on one knee to ask for Ryland’s hand in marriage.
Of course, Ryland happily accepted the proposal, and the 30-year-old captioned the post, “HE SAID YES!!!!!!” See?
Ryland, 27, was just as ecstatic about the engagement, posting an image of sweet polaroids from the proposal along with the Tiffany & Co. ring in its signature blue box.
“We’re engaged!!” he wrote. “I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you. I’ve never been happier in my whole entire life!!”
News of their engagement came hours after Shane posted an adorable message to Ryland on Instagram in celebration of their third anniversary together. In what is arguably the most adorable post to ever hit the social media platform, the YouTuber listed off all his favorite things about their relationship.
“Ryland, thank you for making the last 3 years the happiest time of my life,” he said. “Thank you for sleeping next to me even though i sweat through the sheets. Thank you for making me smile and reminding me how loved I am in real life even when I’m being cancelled online. Thank you for letting me cover you in fake tattoos and wigs for videos and sometimes just for a fun saturday night. Thank you for loving me unconditionally and reminding me everyday that i should love myself too. I thank the universe everyday for bringing you into my life and I can’t wait to start a future with you and start every day thinking about how lucky I am. I love you more than i can ever even explain in words.”
Ryland also posted in honor of their anniversary, writing, “3 years today with my best friend. I can’t believe how our lives have changed, I’m grateful for every second of it! I love you more everyday.”
If you couldn’t already tell, these two are major couple goals, and although they’re probably busy settling into engaged life, we’d be lying if we said we’re not already 10 steps ahead and dreaming about the happy couple planning their wedding.
