There’s one question on everyone’s mind today, and that is: What is going on between Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid?
The confusing couple appears to be back together yet again after the former One Direction member tweeted, “Love you,” to his ex!
The 26-year-old sent the mysterious tweet on Saturday, March 2 — just two months after they reportedly split. And that’s not all because an insider just revealed to Life & Style that after working hard to win her back, Zayn and Gigi are indeed back together.
“Zayn bombarded Gigi with flowers and romantic gestures after they split,” the source revealed. “At first Gigi remained strong, but she’s given in to his pleas and wants to give their relationship another shot.”
Aw, how cute is that? In case you forgot, the couple, who was together for more than three years, shocked us all when the news hit the web that they had decided to go their separate ways at the beginning of the year. After fans noticed that the “Pillow Talk” singer unfollowed his 23-year-old girlfriend, a source confirmed the split to Us Weekly.
“They’re done,” the insider told the outlet at the time. “They could get back together, but it’s over for now.”
A second source explained that although Gigi “tried hard to make it work,” the “Pillow Talk” singer unfortunately had “a lot of his own issues that she couldn’t help him get through.”
“She cut herself off from all her friends every time they were together,” they dished. “She focused all her time and energy on him, but it just got to be too much.”
But just two weeks later, the blonde beauty was spotted leaving her ex’s apartment in New York City. It’s seriously so hard to keep up with these two! And as fans know, this isn’t the first time the couple broke up and got back together. In March of 2018, the two temporarily called it quits again, only to be spotted kissing a few weeks later.
Honestly, it’s kind of cute that they keep going back to each other. You know what they say — you don’t know what you’ve got until it’s gone!
