He wasn’t always settling down! Dylan Sprouse and Barbara Palvin are couple goals, but the actor was romantically linked to a few famous faces before going public with the Victoria’s Secret model.
Before they started dating in 2018, the Suite Life of Zack and Cody star had actually slid into Barbara’s DMs months prior — but she left him on read.
“She followed me, so I was like, I guess I’ll give her something. And I slid into her DMs,” Dylan told W Magazine in a February 2019 joint interview with his girlfriend. “I was like, ‘Hey, I don’t know if you’re in New York for very long, but we should hang out if you want to. Here’s my number.’ And she didn’t message me for six months.”
During the interview, she defended herself, saying, “I took my time. I knew I wasn’t in a good mindset at the time, and maybe deep inside I knew that it could be something more.”
So, she waited and sparks flew when they finally got together.
“It’s not normal for me to have a boyfriend,” Barbara told Vogue Australia in November 2018. “I was single for six years. It did pay off because I feel like I’ve found the perfect guy. He’s very kind and gentle … I’m very much in love right now. It’s a very good feeling.”
The couple got their own place together in January 2019, and celebrated their two-year anniversary in June 2020. Talk about a match made in heaven!
Before he and Barbara got together, Dylan was actually linked to a fellow Disney Channel star in his youth. He and Miley Cyrus had a short-lived romance while they were both stars on the children’s network.
“We met at her set, I believe, and we dated,” Dylan joked on Jimmy Kimmel Live! in 2008. “And then Nick Jonas walked by and then it was over.”
