All The Celebs Taking Part In #IStayHomeFor Instagram Challenge

Celebrities like Demi Lovato, Millie Bobby Brown, Emma Watson, Asher Angel, Perrie Edwards, Bebe Rexha and more have taken part in the Instagram #IStayHomeFor Challenge to encourage their followers to self distance themselves amid the current coronavirus pandemic. Hollywood legend Kevin Bacon started this challenge in an effort to keep people inside their homes and self-quarantine, so they don’t continue to spread the illness. Stars are taking to social media and sharing the names of family members and friends that they have been staying home for to keep each other safe.

Instagram has also created a way to urge app users to stay inside and self isolate. The social media platform recently unveiled their Stay Home feature, a sticker that people can add to their Instagram Stories and share what they are doing at home. Photos and videos tagged with this feature will be added together in a collection of Stay Home Instagram Stories. This was also created to help spread the important message of staying inside.

For those who missed it, the World Health Organization has reported that over 340,000 people have contracted virus so far, resulting in more than 15,000 deaths. Medical professionals have called for “social distancing” to prevent further spreading of the illness, which is defined as “trying to keep yourself away from other people, especially large crowds.” Because of this many events, concerts and festivals have been canceled, including all Broadway plays and sports games. Sofia Carson

The Descendants alum took to Instagram with her sister and pooch to tell fans that she’s been staying home for her family and health care workers.

“I’m staying home for the ones I love most. For my family, for my sister and for the heroic doctors and nurses who don’t have the privilege of being safe in their homes with the ones they love,” Sofia captioned the post.

Millie Bobby Brown

The Stranger Things star named her family, her grandma and the “vulnerable and elderly” as the people she’s been staying home for.

“I’m staying at home for these people because they are my everything,” she captioned her post. “My beautiful nan, she protected me my whole life. Now it’s time for me to protect her.”

JoJo

The songstress took to Instagram, and told followers that she’s been staying home for her neighbors, health care workers and humanity.

“It goes without saying: This is not what anyone planned for or could have expected. our worlds have flipped upside down, but we can help #flattenthecurve by staying at home and sheltering in place. I want to hear from you guys: How are you doing? How’s your heart and mind? Please remember. This is temporary and THIS TOO will pass. If you have a home, I urge you to take advantage of that privilege and stay in,” JoJo captioned her post.

Perrie Edwards

The Little Mix member not only has been staying home for her fans, but her family, friends and the UK’s National Health Service.

“Staying at home right now is so important. I’m a A+ student when it comes to sitting on my couch,” the songstress wrote. “Let’s all do our bit and stop this virus spreading! We can do this together.”

Zoey Deutch

“#IStayHome for my Grandma Pam (Even if I’m going so crazy inside that I just had to google if I am spelling ‘grandma’ right. Yikes. Yikes is right),” Zoey told her Instagram followers. “Please stay home to protect those who are vulnerable. And to those who cannot, who are doctors, nurses, first responders, grocery and pharmacy workers, THANK YOU.”

Dakota Fanning

In a heartfelt caption, Dakota shared that she’s been staying home for her mom’s best friend.

“Ang, a kidney transplant survivor! Do your part and stay home to protect those who are vulnerable. Please! And to those who can’t, and are providing life saving and supporting services, THANK YOU,” she captioned her selfie.
