HmmOkay, So Does Zac Efron Still Talk To The ‘High School Musical’ Cast?

During a recent interview with E! , Ashley Tisdale got right to the point when she asked about her friendships with both Zac and Vanessa Hudgens.

“I see Vanessa but I haven’t seen Zac in a long time,” she simply said. Ashley and V are still super close, having sung together on Ash’s YouTube channel, and Vanessa was even a bridesmaid in Ashley’s wedding. The last time Ashley and Zac were publicly seen hanging out was in 2014 when they took part in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge together, so it looks like they really don’t hang out much. But Ashley did take to her Instagram in early 2018 to share a fake pic a fan made of the trio reuniting.

So looks like there aren’t any hard feelings between Ashley and Zac, they just haven’t really run into each other.

 

 

 

So what about Zac and Vanessa? Well, considering these two dated for years IRL, it’s safe to say that yeah, they 100 percent don’t talk anymore. As sad as it is for fans to know, these two aren’t in each other’s lives anymore. V was even awkwardly asked during an Access Hollywood Live interview if she still talks to Zac and sings karaoke with him like their characters did in the first movie ar that fateful New Year’s Eve party.

 
“Oh yeah no, that’s not a thing that happens. No, I completely lost contact with him,” she said.

And what his friendship with Monique Coleman? When she was asked about her bond with her HSM squad, she basically named-dropped everyone else in the cast but Zac.

 
“Corbin and I are close. Olesya [Rulin] and I spend a lot of time together. I’ve stayed at Kaycee’s [Stroh] house when I’ve gone to Sundance. And I love Lucas so much. He invites me to his shows, and I always try to go, and then something comes up,” Monique said. “Ashley and Vanessa, there’s always love. I went to Ashley’s wedding. We’re always going to be in each other’s lives. We’re so supportive of each other. There’s group texts that go around when something’s going on.”
 

We’re sure she didn’t intentionally leave Zac out, but perhaps he just didn’t cross her mind when she was naming she still talks to because they really don’t see each other. But we’re sure if Monique and Zac did happen to run into each other, there would be nothing but love.

The end verdict: Zac doesn’t really hang out with the High School Musical crew much anymore, but they’ll always have a special place in his heart. Or so we would like to believe.
