In a heartfelt message to his 10.5 million Instagram followers, Jacob Elordi reminded fans that he’s still a “human being.”
“A picture of myself and my mother and father sharing a video call. We communicate like this because I’m really far from home and I don’t get to see them too often. They live in a space of constant anxiety when I am away from them, as do I in the reverse,” he captioned an Instagram Stories post. “This is a reminder that I am a human being.”
The Kissing Booth star added, “If you find it difficult to make your way through the day, I get it, life is heavy. I implore you when you feel like this is to try a little kindness, pay it forward and I promise it will find [its] way back to you. I hope it helps you as I find it helps me. Always in love, J.”
As fans know, his social media post came days after he sparked romance rumors with Kaia Gerber after they were spotted out to dinner on September 1. Then, on Monday, September 7, some fans saw the pair sitting side by side on a park bench in NYC and caught them holding hands while walking around the city. According to E! News, they’re “definitely interested in each other.”
“Kaia is the one that doesn’t want to be in an exclusive relationship right now. She has a lot of projects on her plate and wants her freedom,” a source told the publication. “She does love hanging out with Jacob and they are spending time in New York City for the week while she works.”
Previously, he was rumored to be in a relationship with Zendaya after speculation first hit the web on August 2019. Before that, Jacob was romantically linked to costar Joey King when they took their love off the screen and into real life.
