The Dobre Brothers came under fire in the beginning of October over a video of them looking super unhappy while meeting fans during a paid meet and greet event. Now, James Charles has shaded the group of brothers. The makeup mogul reenacted the viral video during his own meet and greet — wow, talk about no chill.

The clip showed James and his crew looking bored and miserable as a fan snapped a photo with them. At the end, everyone erupted into laughter and James gave the supporter a big hug. The former Sister Squad member captioned the video with the apology that the YouTubers issued after the video went viral.
“We just wanted to apologize. After a long 48 hours of restless filming and touring then meeting thousands of fans with no sleep we were exhausted by the end of our show. Our true apologies, we are sincerely sorry,” he wrote. Yeah, some serious shade has been thrown.
As fans know, James isn’t the only star to make it clear that he wasn’t a fan of Lucas, Marcus, Cyrus and Darius‘ actions. Descendants actress Sarah Jeffery also slammed the guys after the video made its way around the web.
“These kids should be ashamed of themselves,” she wrote on Twitter. “Don’t f**king do meet and greets if you don’t want to give your fans a once in a lifetime experience. It’s so exciting for them. This is so gross. Doesn’t matter if they’re ‘tired’ either, the least you could do is crack a smile.”
“They should be SO grateful for any fans who want to meet them because that is the ONLY reason they are doing what they’re doing,” the Disney star continued. “Someone hold me back lmao. So odd to me. Meeting fans is an energizing experience. Ungrateful weirdos.”
“I promise you it doesn’t take any of your energy to crack a smile. Anything. Not even one word? Check yourself. People listen when you show them your true colors that poor girl probably felt humiliated and small,” she fired back after the social media stars issued an apology. “You can keep your apologies thank you so much though.”
“Also I called it, I knew those kids would use being tired as an excuse. Don’t do it if you’re too tired to have a sliver of humanity peek through,” the 23-year-old concluded. “Promise it doesn’t cost you that much energy to be kind. I’m done now. I’m just angry for the people who paid to be disrespected.”
