While discussing YouTubers during an Instagram Live with TikTok star Addison Rae, Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick‘s son told her that he thought that James Charles was “very nice” but that he thought that Jeffree was “spoiled AF.” And when his comments caught the makeup mogul’s attention, he was not happy.
“I had $500 in my bank account six years ago… Maybe he’s confused with his own privilege versus mine being self-made, hopefully his father can educate him soon!” the vlogger fired back in a now-deleted tweet.
It turns out, Mason isn’t the only person Jeffree has slammed on social media lately. He also sent a strong message to people who were hating on him for donating money to fans who were struggling to pay bills or rent during the coronavirus pandemic. Some people felt he should have given money to hospitals or doctors, rather than his followers.
“If anyone is mad that I’m giving away MY money, you have a lot of soul-searching to do,” he wrote on Twitter. “My family and I have donated millions privately, and I’ve helped every single person in my life. I love giving back, if that offends anyone, can’t relate.”
For those who missed it, the World Health Organization has reported that over reported that over 930,000 people have contracted the coronavirus so far, resulting in more than 47,000 deaths. Medical professionals have called for “social distancing” to prevent further spreading of the illness, which is defined as “trying to keep yourself away from other people, especially large crowds.” Because of this many events, concerts and festivals have been canceled, including all Broadway plays and sports games. People have been asked to avoid public spaces, stay inside and isolate themselves during this time, which has forced a lot of people to lose their jobs.
